Yes! Hydra is completely free to download from the App Store. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions in v1.0.0.
Not yet. Version 1.0.0 stores all data locally on your device using AsyncStorage. Cloud sync via Supabase is planned for a future release — submit a feature request if this is important to you!
Open the Settings tab (⚙️ in the navigation bar), then tap Daily Goal under the "Goal & Units" section. A picker will appear where you can choose your target in oz or ml.
Go to Settings → Reminders and toggle the Reminders switch off. This disables all Hydra notifications. You can also set quiet hours (e.g. 10pm–7am) so you're only reminded during the day.
Absolutely. Head to Settings → Units and toggle between oz and ml. All displayed values across the entire app update instantly. Data is always stored internally in ml.
Streaks count consecutive days where you met your daily goal. If you missed a day (or didn't open the app), the streak resets to 0. The daily cycle resets at midnight based on your device's local time.
In v1.0.0, you can see today's logged entries in the scrollable strip at the bottom of the Home screen, but individual entry deletion is not yet available. This is on our feature roadmap — submit a request to help prioritize it!
Finn is your clownfish companion! He lives on the Home screen and his expression changes based on your hydration progress — sad when you're below 33%, neutral at 34–66%, and absolutely ecstatic when you hit 67–100% of your goal. Keep him happy!
